Frequently Asked Questions
10 questions found in Frequently Asked Questions.
Why is no data shown after authorization?
After authorization, check that the device app and Apple Health or Health Connect contain the metric for the relevant date, then check Alloop’s read access and sync status. The first sync processes the most recent three months first. If the record is still missing after syncing, try again and provide support with the metric, date, device and phone models, and screenshots.
Which devices does Alloop support?
Alloop currently connects through Apple Health and Health Connect. If your device or its app shares data with either platform, you can allow Alloop to read those records. Available metrics depend on what the device app shares and the permissions you grant. Direct connections to individual brands are not currently available.
How do I connect a device or health platform?
Go to Alloop Profile → Devices & Data Sources → Apps & services, choose Apple Health or Health Connect, and grant access to the data types you want to share. First, make sure your device has synced with that health platform. Alloop can then import the records available to it.
Why is Alloop data different from the original device app?
A device app may not share everything it displays with Apple Health or Health Connect. Brands can differ in which metrics they share, how detailed the records are, and whether they send raw values or summaries. Alloop and the original app may also use different time windows, calculations, or data sources. With multiple sources, Alloop checks data quality and handles duplicate records. Recent data may still be syncing. When comparing values, check the date, source, and metric definition.
Why does a metric show “No data available”?
Alloop does not currently have enough usable data to show that metric. It does not mean the value is zero or that something is wrong with your health. Your device may not have recorded it, the device app may not have shared it with the health platform, access may not have been granted, syncing may still be in progress, or there may not be enough valid records to calculate a result. Check the original app, the health platform, Alloop’s permissions, and the sync status.
How long does the first sync take?
The first sync happens in two stages.
Alloop first imports and processes data from the most recent three months, which usually takes 2–5 minutes. It may take longer when there are more sources or a large amount of data. Once recent results are available, older history continues syncing and processing in the background, so long-term trends may appear later. You do not need to stay on the sync screen.
What is Alloop, and how is it different from my device’s app?
Alloop is an open platform for viewing and understanding your personal health data. Through the health platforms you authorize, it brings records from different devices together and helps you follow changes in sleep, recovery, activity, and more. If you use or switch between devices, available sources can fill gaps and help keep your health history more continuous. Alloop also identifies data sources and handles duplicate records. Your device’s app remains the place to manage recording, syncing, settings, and brand-specific features.
Which health metrics does Alloop show?
Common examples include sleep (such as time asleep and Sleep Score), recovery and body signals (such as Recovery Score, HRV, and resting heart rate), activity (such as steps, workouts, and Activity Score), and nutrition (such as logged food and Nutrition Score). Bio Age may also appear when its data and feature requirements are met. The metrics you see depend on what your connected sources provide, what you allow Alloop to read, and whether there is enough data to show a result.
How are my health data and voice content used? How is the security of my private data ensured?
We understand your concerns about privacy and data security. Alloop handles and protects your personal and health data in accordance with our current Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information or use health data for advertising. To provide data syncing, cloud storage, and AI features, limited data may be processed by authorized service providers when necessary, but it is not shared with unrelated third parties. We take reasonable security measures to protect your data.
For more details, please refer to the [Privacy Policy ]and [Terms of Use ]available in the Alloop app or on our official website.

Why do I need Alloop if I already own a smartwatch or smart ring?
Even if you already use a smartwatch or ring, your health records may be spread across different devices and apps. Through the health platforms you authorize, Alloop brings available records together and helps you understand changes in sleep, recovery, activity, and daily context. When you use or switch devices, available sources may also help fill gaps and keep your long-term history more continuous.

Can I use Alloop without a wearable?
Yes. You can use Alloop for manual logging, nutrition logging, and AI conversations without a wearable. Metrics that rely on device measurements, such as sleep, HRV, and blood oxygen, appear only when Apple Health or Health Connect provides usable records. Metrics without data remain unavailable; Alloop does not invent values.
Does Alloop support iPhone and Android?
Our APP currently supports both iPhone and Android systems.
Do I need an account to use Alloop?
Most features that require cross-device sync, historical data, personalized AI experiences or hardware management require an Alloop account. Use an email address or sign-in method that you can access long term so you can recover your account and receive service updates.
How do I connect a device or health platform?
Go to Profile → Devices & Data Sources → Apps & services, choose Apple Health or Health Connect, and grant access to the data types you want to share. First, make sure your device has synced with that health platform. Alloop can then import the records available to it.
Why is no data shown after authorization?
After authorization, data must first reach Apple Health or Health Connect from the device app before Alloop can import it. Check that the original app and health platform both contain the metric for the relevant date, then check Alloop’s read access and sync status. The first sync processes the most recent three months first. If the record is still missing after syncing, try again and provide support with the metric, date, phone and device models, and relevant screenshots.

Alloop and the original app may also use different time windows, calculations, or data sources. With multiple sources, Alloop checks data quality and handles duplicate records. Recent data may still be syncing. When comparing values, check the date, source, and metric definition.
Why do I see duplicate sleep or activity records?
More than one device or app may write the same sleep or workout event to a health platform, so similar entries can appear in the source records. Alloop checks for duplicate events in its combined results to avoid counting one activity twice. If you still see a duplicate in the summary, note the event date, time, and data sources and contact support. You do not need to turn off other sources first.
Will I lose my data after changing phones?
When you sign in on your new phone with the same Alloop account, data already imported into Alloop and your manual records remain available unless you have deleted them. You need to authorize Apple Health or Health Connect again on the new phone for Alloop to continue receiving new health data.
How do I change permissions or disconnect a health platform?
In Alloop, go to Profile → Devices & Data Sources → Apps & services and select Apple Health or Health Connect. To change read access, use that platform’s system permission settings; when you return to Alloop, available data can be checked and synced again. To stop future imports, choose Disconnect on the platform’s connection page in Alloop. Disconnecting does not automatically delete previously imported records. System permissions are managed separately in the health platform.
What do HRV, RHR, SpO2, RESP and TEMP mean?
HRV is heart rate variability, the variation between consecutive heartbeats; RHR is resting heart rate; SpO2 is an estimate of blood oxygen saturation; RESP is respiratory rate; and TEMP usually refers to a skin or body-temperature trend. Interpret them with personal baselines, measurement conditions and trends rather than from a single reading.
Are Recovery, Sleep, Activity and Nutrition scores medical scores?
Not. These scores are wellness-oriented summaries generated from wearable data, user inputs and product algorithms. They are intended to help users observe trends and plan lifestyle actions, not to provide medical diagnoses, disease-risk conclusions or treatment advice.
Is Bio Age my actual or medical age?
No. Bio Age is generally a comparative estimate derived from health-related data over time and is intended for observing trends and long-term changes. It is not your actual age and is not a medically diagnosed physiological age.
Why do sleep stages or sleep duration differ from how I feel?
Wearables typically estimate sleep using signals such as movement and heart rate rather than direct clinical sleep testing. Fit, device position, signal quality, algorithm version and changes in routine can affect the result. Look at multi-day trends and your own experience instead of focusing on a single night.
Can Alloop health guidance replace a doctor suggestion?
No. Alloop guidance is for health education and lifestyle reference and does not replace a clinician, diagnosis, prescription or emergency care. If you have persistent or serious symptoms, contact a qualified medical professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
What can Alloop AI Coach help with?
AI Coach can use synced health data, user-entered meals and activities, personal feelings and goals to explain trends, suggest lifestyle actions, create simple plans or answer product-use questions. Responses depend on data completeness and the scope of the current feature set.
Can AI Coach give an incorrect suggestion?
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for every person. Treat it as general information and an action aid; do not stop medication, change treatment or handle emergencies based on it. Consult a clinician for questions involving disease, medication, pregnancy or serious symptoms.
Why does AI Coach say there is not enough data?
This usually means that no data source is connected, sync is incomplete, wear time is insufficient, or relevant lifestyle context has not been provided. Complete the connection, wear the device consistently and add context such as sleep, meals, exercise, stress and goals.
Can I delete or edit manual logs?
If supported by the current version, you can usually edit or delete a record from the relevant timeline, journal or metric detail page. The entry point may differ by version and record type. If you cannot find it, provide the record date, record type and a screenshot.
Why are notifications, background sync or voice logging not working?
Check notification and microphone permissions, background refresh, low-power mode, network connection and app version. Some systems restrict background activity in power-saving mode. Voice features may also depend on language, region or network availability.

Can I revoke permissions and delete my account or data?
You can revoke health-platform or device permissions and request deletion of your account and associated data through the account and privacy process. Revoking a connection usually stops future syncs but does not automatically delete data already synced. The deletion scope and processing time are governed by the privacy policy and support confirmation.
How do I recover my account or change my login email?
First try account recovery using the original sign-in method. If you still cannot sign in, contact official support with the registered email, order or device information and other details that can verify account ownership. For security, support will not ask for your password or full payment details.
